3 December 2015 - As 2015 draws to a close, MSC continues to be widely recognised as one of the best ocean carriers in the industry through a number of accolades voted by customers and shippers across several markets in the European region. For the third consecutive year, MSC UK won the prestigious ‘Container Line of the Year’ award at the 2015 Lloyd’s Loading List Global Freight Awards on November 19th. This award shows customer endorsement of MSC’s global commitment to deliver great customer service across the company. MSC Turkey was voted the Best International Shipping Company for the third time at the Logitrans Transport Logistics Fair, which took place in Istanbul between 18th and 20th November. Mr. Hasan Piroglu, CEO of MSC Turkey received the award on behalf of MSC Turkey. Recognised by the industry for its consistent year-on-year growth and outstanding performance, MSC is proud to be awarded this coveted title. It proves, once again, that MSC is the preferred shipping supplier for Turkish customers. For the eighth year in a row, since these awards started in 2008, MSC Portugal won the Best Shipping Agent award at a special ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Oporto, Portugal, hosted by the leading shipping publication Transportes & Negócios. Since 2009, Portuguese shippers and consignees have also voted MSC the “Best Portugal North-America Carrier” and, new this year, the “Best Portugal-Latin America Carrier”. These annual awards are further proof of Portuguese customers’ confidence in MSC as their cargo shipping line of choice.
