“K” Line announce the delivery of VLCC Tedorigawa

June 5, 2018 - Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd., Tokyo, announced the delivery of “Tedorigawa”, a 311,000 DWT-type VLCC at Nantong Cosco KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd, China on June 4, 2018. The vessel achieves low fuel consumption (about 20% reduction compared with conventional VLCC) by removing Bulbus Bow, applying ultra-long stroke slow speed main diesel engine and highly-efficient large diameter propeller.

 A ballast water treatment system ensures ocean habitat is protected from unwanted environmental effects.
