Over 600 transport operators, government authorities and ticketing technology representatives will gather in London between 27-29 January 2015 to discuss the way forward for smart travel across the world. The event will bring together an audience representing over 50 countries and provide a platform for transport executives to share experiences and impart knowledge to help others devise sustainable strategies for their region’s infrastructure. Following
nearly ten successful years of building Transport Ticketing & Passenger Information Global to serve as an important catalyst for the growth and development of the smart fare collection market, Zehra Chudry,
Transport Ticketing World Series’ Head of Content said that now is a particularly interesting time for smart mobility in Europe and around the world. ‘Innovation and the changing of customer habits are driving rapid evolution within the transport ticketing sector.
We are really excited to be providing a platform for the big conversations to take place and preview which operators are next on the horizon to make waves across the industry.’ In addition to the conference, attendees will have access to the Smart Ticketing Academy, a comprehensive 60 stand exhibition, the annual awards and extensive networking opportunities. Information about brand new and experientially-led features will follow.
The event is co-located with the newly launched EMV Forum, a membership community which has been created to secure year-round conversation and problem resolution between what contactless ticketing should look like and how to get there. Transport Ticketing & Passenger Information Global is the world’s largest gathering of the public transport industry for smart fare collection and passenger services.
