January 29, 2018 - Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) will bring industry stakeholders together for the second annual edition of its Executive Partner Conference, on Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th February 2018, at the Hilton London Bankside. The conference will deliver participant focused content to over 30 cruise line executives and many participants from ports, destinations and various suppliers to the industry. It is one of the key events of the CLIA Executive Partner Program, for anyone seeking greater engagement with the cruise industry. In 2018, the event will be combined with the CLIA Europe Dinner after the Opening General Session on 7 February, that is open to the wider industry, to connect with the cruise community. Kerry Anastassiadis, Chairman of CLIA Europe and CEO of Celestyal Cruises, hosting the dinner at the Hilton said: “We are delighted to see such a strong level of European participation from CLIA Cruise Lines senior executives to the event and to our celebration dinner. It is most encouraging to witness our Executive Partner Program expanding and adding value to our industry year after year.” The conference will feature interactive sessions on Port & Destination on the first day on topics including port infrastructure, shore excursions and itinerary planning, followed by the Opening General Session: One Voice – Sustainability. On the second day, the morning will kick off with the Presidents Panel, featuring Kerry Anastassiadis, CEO, Celestyal Cruises and Chairman, CLIA Europe; David Dingle, Chairman, Carnival UK; and Vice Chairman, CLIA Europe and Neil Palomba, President, Costa Crociere. The rest of the day will be focused on Technical & Regulatory topics including Brexit, procurement, GDPR, destination management, environment and shipbuilding. “The CLIA Executive Partner Conference brings a high level of discussions to cover many topics linked to the industry’s development. It is an essential platform to encourage positive dialogue between all players of the industry”, added Elisabetta De Nardo, Vice-President Port & Destination Operations, Silversea Cruises and Chairwoman, CLIA Europe Port & Destination Advisory Committee.
